They then make a deliberate, focused effort to maintain it as the firm develops and changes.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-heading\"><strong>Follow the \u201cWhy\u201d mechanic<\/strong>.<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Employees can only be turned into rock stars if they have a clear vision backed by a compelling \u201cwhy.\u201d<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>As a founder, you are committed to your \u201cwhy,\u201d but as your company grows, you need to rely on your team to represent the firm to partners, customers, and the community.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Your message will never go out if they can\u2019t articulate why the company exists or what it stands for.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>A safe method is to devote the same amount of time and resources to your staff as you do to your customers.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Employees should have a sense of belonging, importance, and value.
